![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some of the advanced moves require single presses in order to achieve complicated moves/combos, but the controller buttons with register double presses. Here is an example in MKX there is a tutorial that walks you through the mechanics. This may be fixed with a firmware update, but currently it is annoying. The second problem is the buttons are too sensitive. The dang thing is too short and I have to bring a chair into my living room to play with it so I don't rip the thing out of the console. It costs almost as much as a new controller, why could it not be wireless? But I knew that going in so it was not a deal killer, but the length of the cord is. But I have not used a wired controller since Xbox 2, save for the Rocksmith cord. For most people, that will not be an issue. The first problem with it is that it is wired. I almost went as far as buying an arcade stick from Fry's Electronics, but the 200+ price tag for a rig was too much and I would hurt myself if I wasted that much money. I purchased this when I heard Mortal Kombat was coming out on the XBone and after struggling to use the Xbox controller on other fighting games like Killer Instinct, I thought this would be awesome. First off, let me say that I don't hate this controller, and that I plan to use it in the future and quite often. ![]()
